Shiny and healthier hair. The only reason didn't t give 5 stars is because sometimes I see a dent mark line where I first start sliding Croc down and have to go over that again. I don't recall that with old iron. But it is amazing!!

I'm a seasoned stylist in southwest FL and I'm blown away by this iron! I'm half Korean half Costa Rican and I have a LOT of long wavy hair that never looks good flat ironed because of how dry and thick my hair is no matter what I've used. After using this my hair was silky smooth with just a 390 setting and it stayed that way even in the FL humidity!

I used a different similarly priced straightener for the last couple years that has been known to be "one of the best." For the purpose of this review, I will call it "G". Before G, I had a Croc. Somewhere down the line I started wondering which model of the G I was using before that had the control buttons for the heat settings, as the G I had only had one setting and didn't get hot enough for my thick, wavy hair. I also didn't have the ability to turn the heat down for the pieces around my face which are much more fragile which caused a lot of damage in the long run. I had completely forgotten that the straightener I was missing was a Croc until I saw an ad on Instagram for Croc and it all came back to me. I was already in the process of searching for a new straightener to replace G and tried at least one other reputable straightener brand I will refer to as "c". I immediately ordered a new Croc straightener, and I will literally never choose another brand again. The smooth, even straighten that it achieves and the ability to control the heat settings is crucial. "G" and "c" really do not stack up to what a Croc is capable of.

This is an amazing flat iron! I had the classic infrared (still working) but just wanted another flat iron and an upgrade. The masters version has a smoother glide over my hair and a very nice feel. The croc infrared line of flat irons really seals the hairs cuticles and conceals any split ends I have, making my hair look more healthy than any other flat iron. The shine is incredible. Love it!
