The New Classic Flat Iron

I have only used this a few times. Here are my thoughts. First thing I noticed out of the box it felt kinda cheap for the price. Maybe I thought that due to the weight. It is very light compared to other irons I have previously purchased. However a plus to that is it’s nice on the arm muscles. I like how fast it heats up and also how it tells you the temperature of the plates even as it heats up. What I don’t like is how most of my plates do not touch. As shown in picture. If you are working on small amounts of hair such as bangs it doesn’t grab the hair like I feel it should. Overall so far I do like it. Unsure if I would recommend it yet mostly because of the plates not touching well.

This is by far the best flat iron I have ever used. I have been a stylist/salon owner for over 20 years and I have had my share of Flat irons. This iron straightens the hair in one stroke and it does not burn the hair. I service women with thick textured hair and I saw the difference after the first use.I am so glad i decided to buy this iron I will be purchasing another.

My last Croc dropped and broke after a year of good use, so I pulled the trigger on another and I'm so glad I did. I accidently ordered the smaller size and I have pretty long and thick hair, but because it's made so well, the smaller size works just as well for me. I like that it's more compact and lightweight too. Super pleased with this product.

Loved the irons, I have the 1.5 and 1 "... however I've had to send them both back for repairs. I recently tried to send the 1.5 back again, it wouldn't open and close, they wouldn't take the one it was no longer under warranty. The other wouldn't turn on, they kept it and said there was product build up and that wasn't covered under warranty and I had to pay to get it sent back. They stopped even responding to my emails. SOOO DISAPPOINTED with the customer service.

Love this tool but my hair never glides through it like other tools I use. This surprises me. I thought about using less heat protection but that is not helping. My hair is completely clean so not sure what the issue is being it has black titanium plates. Should be smooth as butter.

Cannot believe how well this flat iron worked for my hair. I am mixed and have curls ranging from 3b-4b and I have used a cheap and expensive flat iron prior to getting the croc with horrible results. Now it is vital for me to mention that I am coming off of being all natural for 2 years straight. So any flat iron that touched my head, couldn't be straight for more than 5 minutes when I was done straightening, it was so disappointing and I thought this would be with every flat iron. This product was highly recommended to me by 2 Ulta employees, so I thought why not I'll give it one more try. I was deciding between this and a Chi but my gut said go with this one. And wow im so glad I listened to my gut. This packaging says professional quality and they are not exaggerating. On the FIRST flat iron, I only needed 2 passes over each section and it never frizzed up afterward! This was the smoothest glide I have ever gotten on my hair from a flat irom and it didn't tug on my hair either. I really like the button sounds so if I accidentally were to push it to switch the heat settings, I would be aware without inadvertently burning my hair. The plates are so nice and heat up evenly, I even slept on it and I'm still looking fabulous next day! This is the smallest iron ive ever used and thought no way in heck it could keep up with my hair but I was wrong! The icing on the cake is the ease of use and how lightweight it is. I've gone Croc & I won't go back!!!

Just bought one after my hairdresser used hers on me and it was the quickest most sleekest hair finish I’ve had. My flat iron is a decade years old so it’s time to invest in a new one. Excited for my purchase!

One pass is one pass. I have gone my fair share of product testing for the best iron...I so wish this was the first in my long quest. I have big hair and this iron puts in the work to make it look healthy, shiny and non frizz. Thank you

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE ! My straightener was lost due to UPS ! Delivering at wrong address ! Emailed them and they would take forever to reply ! Finally they were going to send me a replacement!!!! & REPLACEMENT WAS DELIVERS TO A CALIFORNIA ADRESS !!! I’m from TEXAS !!! Worst CUSTOMER SERVICE IF TRIED CALLING CUSTOMER SERVICE THEY NEVER ANSWER MY EMAILS THEY TAKE UP TO 4 DAYS TO REPLY ! NEVER PURCHASING FROM THIS WEBSITE !!!!! & GUESS WHAT I STILL DONT HAVE MY STRAIGHTENER!!!

Ive been doing hair for a little over ten years, and all I've used is croc for my flat irons. Ive tried other brands in the past, but none come close to the new classic. I originally had the classic, then purchased this one. Still performs amazingly, but handles way better!

This straightener started of as a great purchase, heats to high temperature and straightens great. After just over a year (right after the warranty expired) this product died, it displayed an error message on the display and the temperature just kept going down and down until it would shut off. I tried to return this product first to cosmo prof but they don't cover products after 60 days and they informed me that many people have had the same problem. I then contacted the company and if I want to have it fixed I need to pay to ship it to them, pay to have it repaired and hope they can fix it. Unfortunately will never buy this product again

No surprise here, I've been using CROC for years. I'm always pleased by the quality of their product from accessories to major buys like this one. Hope this lasts another 5 years like my previous.

I highly recommend this straightener, I use it on a daily basis on all of my clients. I work hard, but this flat iron works harder. I love the comfortable fit. I love using this on clients for flat iron curls.

I needed a new flat iron because mine broke a few weeks ago. I heard good things about croc so I decided to give it a shot. Honestly, my hair has never been so soft or so smooth! I don't know what I would do without my croc. Thanks!

If this is your first croc purchase, then it is perfect...if this is your second croc purchase, then you will be disappointed. PROS: -It heats up quickly (like older model.) -It stays warm (like older model.) -Good grip handles (like older model.) -There is now a feature where you can sit your croc upright versus on its side. CONS: -It looks cheap compared to the older model. -There is no "light" to let you know it is plugged in (compared to older model.) -My new croc won't remember my set temperature once I unplug it (compared to older model.) -There is an "error" message I keep getting. Don't know why and there is NO information from croc on their website for a solution (that I am aware of.) -the plastic where the plates sit is extremely hot....even though there are grooves for you to grab the croc at the plates, it is way to HOT to touch it (compared to the older model where it is just warm.)

My hair often gets frizzy after starting and with this it makes a huge difference I straighten my hair everyday and finally decided to splurge on a better quality iron SUCH A DIFFERENCE my friends actually commented on the diffrence with multiple people loving what i did and it took way less time sooooooooooo worth it
